SAM IO GEN II Needle - 15mm

SAM® IO GEN II Needles are designed for establishing intraosseous vascular access when peripheral IV access is difficult or cannot be rapidly obtained. The needle assembly uses controlled rotational placement with the SAM® IO Driver, followed by removal of the stylet to expose the catheter and standard Luer-lock connection for extension tubing. The range of needle lengths supports different patient anatomies and common insertion sites, including the proximal tibia and proximal humerus. Each needle set also includes a NeedleVISE® sharps-containment device and is intended for single use.

NEW SAM IO “Gen II” Needle features a tapered design, improved ergonomics, and a shorter profile than our current needle. The stylet portion is consistent with our current white-colored hub and the cannula hub remains consistent with the pink, blue, and yellow IO needle industry standard.
